Angel's pov,

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the familiar room. I sat up realizing that I was actually in the room.

'But how am I here?'

The door clicked open and Rishi came inside with the tray of food in his hands.

"You are finally awake."

"What happened? How come we are here? And that shot?"

"Relax...we are safe." He said sitting beside me and placing the tray infront of me.

"That's what I am asking. How are we safe? Didn't that man shot bullet towards you? And..." I trailed off as he stuffed the bread in my mouth.

"You should rather be a good listener first. I can only speak when you will shut your mouth."

I chewed the bite and glared at him who was giving me a lecture.

"And look who's asking! Someone was claiming to help me but blacked out after hearing a simple gunshot."

"I didn't blacked out coz of gunshot. I didn't ate anything and was fighting with those people. My energy was exhausted leading to loss of my consciousness.

But tell me what happened?"

He rolled his eyes and explained, "that man did pulled trigger but I kicked him which led to his downfall and the bullet entered in the leg of his one of men.

And after that my bodyguards appeared and they handled them while I was handling you."

"Ohh"

Then we ate the lunch and I realized I was unconscious till noon. I quickly changed and went to the hotel my friends were staying. There I got to know Rishi's secretary already explained an excuse to the director for my sudden disappearance.

We got back to city in the evening while Rishi along with his team already left in noon as he had an important meeting.

As I reached home, I saw heels at the entrance and I am definitely sure those are not mine. As I entered the hallway, I heard the giggles of a girl.

And there I saw Rishi sitting with a girl who had her back towards me. The unusual thing is that Rishi also had a smile on his face.

"Angel" he called while I was busy staring at girl's back.

He came to me and the girl finally turned around and I looked at her face.
