Rishi's pov,

"It...It's my...my problem. I can solve this."she said and my anger rose to another level. I was trying to not let her see my worst side but she is more interested in testing my patience.

After that I asked her to redo the files even though those files were of no use. I didn't asked her for nothing. I checked her progress from last one month and she is quite slow.

To my surprise she didn't argued and obeyed everything I said. My anger piqued its level when I saw her talking and laughing with her colleague. Coz of some unknown reason I wasn't feeling good that she is distant from me and talking to others.

It's been 5 days and we are not on talking terms. I know I am being cruel giving her too much workload but...

I pressed the intercom and asked her to bring presentation. She came and kept the PD on table without saying anything. She was leaving when I stopped her.

"yes sir?" It feels strange whenever she addresses me as sir.

"What about the meeting with shareholders? Is the file ready?" I asked staring at her.

"No sir...the meeting is tomorrow so I'll prepare until tomorrow."

"You haven't prepared until now, why?" I was pissed of her working speed.

She rubbed her eyes and replied with a frown, "actually I was doing the work you asked me befo..."

And then I saw her body stumbled and she was about to fall.

"Angel" I rushed towards her and caught her before she fell on floor.

"Angel wake up Angel"

"Is she fine Ken?"

"Her blood pressure is raised, she probably felt unconscious due to stress or lack of sleep."

"When will she wake up?"

"Her energy is drained so once her energy is regained, she'll wake up." I nodded.

"Let Rohan see you off."

Ken and Rohan left and I sat beside her bed. I looked at the IV attached to the back of her hand. Her face was pale, bags around eyes.
