Was it really an arranged marriage?
Angel's pov,
"Ohhh...you might not know. You are selected as sir's personal assistant. So from now on you will work on the top floor only for Rishi sir."
"What!" I shrieked and director gave me a look.
"I mean why...and how?" I asked calming myself.
"Haven't you checked company's forum?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Rohan randomly chose few female employees from every department and you were luckily selected."
'Luckily...I doubt'
"But director I don't want this PA post."
"What? But why? Do you even know how many employees wanted this post and you are rejecting as if it isn't a big deal!"
"Director, I came here to learn things. What can I possibly learn as a PA?
How to make coffee? Or how to copy files?"
"What are you saying? Assistant's work is not just making coffee or copying files. You'll be with boss himself. You can't even imagine how much you will learn from him."
'Who wants to learn from him? Atleast not me.'
"But still I wanna work under you as an employe of HR department. I am not really interested in that post."
She sighed, "well...I don't have a say in this. This is related to boss. No one has the courage to deny his decision.
If still you are adamant, you can talk to boss."
I huffed and left her office stroding directly to the topmost floor.
I reached Rishi's office and Rohan stopped me saying he is in meeting. I waited for a while and door opened from inside. Diana and another girl maybe her assistant came out. She smiled at me and I gave her a tight lipped smile.
She left and I looked at Rohan who said Rishi was in meeting.
"Mam...sir said to not disturb him." He said and I gave him cold look. I didn't bothered and directly barged in his office.
Rishi looked up from his files with a frown and the next moment he was colder. Rohan closed the door from behind and I stroded towards Rishi's desk.
"I don't wanna be your assistant." I sternly said.
"None of my problem." He said and started working on his laptop.
"Rishi you once said your personal and professional life are two different things. Right now you are mixing them by selecting a not so good employe like me as your assistant."
He nonchalantly said, "I am not interested in proving my professionalism to you."
