Was it really an arranged marriage?
Third person's pov,
Rishi was surprised to see his parents and his friends including Diya, Ayan, Nilesh, Ritesh and Nishant.
"How come you all are here?" He asked walking towards them.
"Brother, we just wished you, surprised you. Atleast show some happy smile, what is this stoic expression." Ayan complained.
Rishi ignored him and met with his parents. His mom was happy to see him and so was he.
"Happy birthday Rishi"
"Thanks mom"
"Happy birthday brother" Rhea screamed from stairs as she ran down after her sleep and hugged Rishi.
"Thank you little demon" Rishi ruffled her hairs and she giggled.
Then everyone wished Rishi and Angel brought the cake over.
"Well...I never thought you all will treat me as a eight year old child who would be happy to see you all on his birthday." Rishi sarcastically remarked.
Diya scrunched her nose, "how mean you are! But you know what we don't care about you. We were invited by Angel so you don't matter to us. Moreover we wanna spend holidays and Paris is the best option."
"Well...you thankless man, you should atleast appreciate our efforts rather than acting cool." Nilesh said.
Then Rishi cut the cake and everybody sang the birthday song for him. He first feeded to Angel who was just standing beside him and then his parents while everyone else took themselves.
After a small chitchat, everyone settled in the rooms and Rishi was called by his mother.
"This is for you." She said handing him a gift.
Rishi said while opening, "don't expect me to scream after opening."
There was a painting which was painted by him. He smiled, "you still have it."
"Yeah...I have everything concerning you." She said and Rishi shook his head.
"How is it going between you two?" His mother asked.
"Good" Rishi answered.
She nodded and continued, "I hope you aren't rude to her."
He sighed, "ofcourse not mom...how can you have such a wrong image of me? Sometimes I feel like you will make me a villain. "
"Coz I have seen your way to treat people." She said and he just rolled his eyes.
"She is from a joint family Rishi. She might feel sometimes lonely when you are too busy with your work. So treat her the way she needs to be taken care of."
