You sacrificed me to protect those things, one day I will turn them into a pile of mud under my feet... Until you die... I'm never going away.

Chapter 1 Meet in misery

Four years ago

At nine o'clock in the evening, Amanda came out of the gym. She walked to the parking lot, and as soon as she got in the car, the phone rang.

It's a phone number with no contact name.

"What else?" Amanda picked up the phone and said coldly, "Yes, I saw the photo, I know how it looks, if anything happens, I'll call you, either."

Amanda answered a few questions briefly and hung up the phone. She drove out of the underground parking lot.

At night, the prosperous scenery of the magnificent city makes people see the eyes, at this time the sky is like a large cloth woven, hiding the bright spots, but through the night sky, there are only bright buildings.

Hidden in that prosperous area there is a closed passage, not easy to detect.

This place is not equal to the luxurious buildings out there, but it also makes people dizzy, this place also does not have strict security, as long as it is not deadly, the security guard here will also close one eye and open one eye.

At the end of the alley, there was a small bar, lit up called H.L. A guy was sitting in front of the bar door, mouthing a cigarette and constantly looking at the four sides, like he was watching.

The blonde circled the back of the bar, the first-floor living room was completely quiet, but the innermost room of the second floor made strange noises.

Alan opened his eyes in shock, his bloodshot eyes staring at the ceiling, speechless. Alan's face was severely injured, so he could no longer see, from his eyebrows to the corners of his eyes, there was dried blood, only the corners of his mouth were constantly bleeding fresh blood.

After the pain, Alan rolled his eyes, breathing heavily at the man in front of him, his eyes bleeding.

He was betrayed.

"Josh" sounded weakened, but still filled with indignation, Alan said wryly, "You'd better pray that the future won't fall into my hands!"

The man named Josh was forty years old, and he wore gold-rimmed glasses that looked elegant but also sinister.

Josh is Arnold's boss, Alan's father, who manages the Waltons' business in C City.

After Arnold became ill, the Walton Family shared five or seven, and the Walton family's key privy was also assigned to Alan.

Before his death, Arnold told Alan to find Josh, hoping that Alan, with Josh's help, would continue to stand in City C.

But unexpectedly, after Arnold became ill, Josh developed a desire to betray the Walton family.

"Fall into your hands?" Josh laughs gently, dropping his glasses and gently cleaning them, "Let's see if you survive."

Josh's underling stood behind Alan, grabbing a handful of Alan's hair, and forcing Alan to look up at him.

Alan was in pain, but he bit his teeth and refused to cry out.

Alan was tortured to the point of fainting and then tortured to wake up again and again, just like that all day, but whether it was threats or seduction, Josh couldn't tell what he wanted from Alan's mouth.

Josh held a knife close to Alan's neck artery.

"I'm giving you one last chance." Josh said, "Where's the drawing?"

"So who are you working for?" Alan suddenly asked calmly, "My brother?"

Josh chuckled softly, "It's no use for you now, give you ten seconds to think, after all, the drawing matters, or your life matters."

Alan emotionlessly closed his eyes.

"Okay." Josh feigned regret and sighed, "Don't blame this Uncle Sun."

It was at this moment that Josh's cell phone vibrated.

Josh turned and walked over to the phone, Alan slowly opening his eyes, staring blankly at the ceiling, trying to untie the strap or hands behind the chair.

He didn't resign himself. how could he die here, he had so much to do!

Josh finished the phone and turned and walked in front of Alan, "You're lucky, someone wants to personally ask you tomorrow about the location of the drawing, so you can continue to live."

Josh finished speaking, gesturing to his subordinates, all leaving the living room.

Josh patted Alan's bloodied face and said with a smile, "You're going to have to volunteer to open your mouth tomorrow "

Alan glared at Josh, saying nothing.

Josh left the living room, went outside, and told his subordinates to go all the way, leaving only one person inside.

"In two hours go in and give him water."

Whatever Josh said Alan heard.

Before he left, Josh turned to look at Alan who was tied up in his seat, the corners of his mouth showing a monstrous smile.

Alan is still too young.

After two hours, Josh's underlings went in to give Alan a drink, and Alan used his untied hands to punch him in the temple, and fell to the ground, The underling did not have time to call for help, alan slammed the knife into the back of the head and fainted.

Alan changed his outfit with the other.

Due to his serious injuries, Alan had difficulty walking. Fortunately, there was not a shadow outside the living room. Alan didn't think anything strange either, he leaned against the wall breathing heavily, and ran out of the bar.

This alley was full of Josh's people, Alan did not dare to ask for help, nor did he want to hide in any store.

Alan lowered his head, holding back the pain in his body and walking quickly out of here.

This alley has only one exit, leaving the alley can take the car to the main road.

Alan came out of the alley still not daring to let go.

He was in a hurry to find Josh, so he came here and didn't know anyone in the city.

Right now he needed to find a place where he could treat his wounds.

But where is it safe?

Behind Alan came the commotion, Alan quickly hid behind a billboard to observe.

Josh's men spotted him escaping, urging the ten people in the store to run for him, bumping into passersby, and getting into an argument.

Alan looked at the four sides, and now he saw that about seven or eight meters away from him there was a car parked there.

A few dozen meters away from the beginning of the alley, traffic was busy, only that car was parked.

Inside the car with the lights on, Alan could not see the figure of the owner, only vaguely saw that he was making a phone call.

Alan didn't think too much, he wiped the blood from his face with his sleeve, suffering the shock of the loss of so much blood heading towards the other car.

Amanda had just hung up the phone when she heard the car window slam, she leaned in to glance at the person outside, then lowered the glass of the car to the level of a knuckle.

"What's wrong?" Amanda asked idly.

Alan straightened his collar to obscure half of his face, Amanda could only see those eyes gleaming with blood, there was still dried blood on her eyebrows.

Alan didn't have time with this person to explain his dangerous situation, he directly raised his gun, the barrel fit into the gap of the window, and the black muzzle of the gun aimed directly at Amanda's head.

"Open the car door quickly, immediately!" Alan's husky voice was filled with cruel majesty.

Amanda was a little startled staring at the barrel of Alan's gun, the bottom of her eyes filled with fear.

Amanda opened the car door, her face uneasy, "Calm down."

Alan sat in the passenger seat and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Quick drive." Alan said again, "Go this way, without my orders, don't stop."

Alab's barrel rested on Amanda's waist, Amanda didn't dare disobey.

After the car started, alan turned to look in the rearview mirror, he saw Josh's subordinates running out of the alley, standing at the head of the alley looking everywhere and splitting into two.

Alan exhaled with complete peace of mind now, thankfully...

Alan was now slowly beginning to watch the driver who had saved him.

Amanda's face was so calm, Alan forgot about his situation for three seconds, the first sentence that came to mind was:

I want this girl!
