"You think you can break me, Casper? You think you can force me to love you?" My voice trembled with a mixture of anger and hurt. Casper's tone was cold. "Love? You still cling to that stupid notion? You are nothing more than a prisoner to me. I don't need your love. All I want is your obedience." My fists tightened. "Good, because I could never love a heart as cold and cruel as yours. You may have me trapped here, but you'll never have my heart." Casper's expression hardened. "I have no use for your love, you weak human! And mark my words, you will learn to obey me, one way or another." --- On his quest for revenge, Alpha Casper discovers that his mate is the daughter of his offender. To complicate matters, she is a HUMAN – the weakest creature in his eyes. Will he accept her and treat her with kindness? Or will he make her life a living hell? Find out in this thrilling novel.

Chapter 1 I

Alessia p.o.v

I poured my self a big glass of water with a couple of ice cubes.

As I poured water into my cup, the ice cubes clinked softly.

I'm the youngest and the only girl among my two older brothers.

My dad leads an army, so we grew up with rules and toughness.

Sometimes, especially at night, I feel the pressure of living up to their expectations.

Despite my brothers being protective, I sometimes crave moments alone, just being me, not the general's daughter.

My eyes glanced over at the clock.

Wow, it was about two in the morning.

"It's still early, I need to go back to sleep." I said to my self as I rubbed my temples on my head.

I walked in the dinning room, past the back doors when something caught my eyes.

You got to be kidding me!

My eyes focused on a wolf standing next to the bench all the way back in my back yard...all of a sudden... The wolf changed to a human.

Oh my goodness!

How come?

A werewolf?

How did it get here?

Our walls are protected, there is no way a werewolf could have gone past through it without my dad's men knowing about it.

I stepped closer to the door, trying to see it better when it turned around.

It was a dark green eyes looking right at me.

"What the fuck!" I mumbled to my self.

It's him!

The mysterious man in my dreams.

I knew it was him.

Those eyes you could see them from a mile away.

I placed my hand on the door handle, tempted to go outside and confront him.

No Alessia, don't!

This might be a trap.

I bit my lip while my mind battled if I should or not.

"Ugh."

I let out a deep breathe as I closed the door, staring at him then I locked the door and the big wooden door that went after it.

I'm probably just so tired, that I'm imagining stuff, I thought to myself as I quickly turned off the kitchen light and the dinning room light then made my way back to my room.

As I made my way back to my room, my heart still pounding from the strange encounter, I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw my brother standing in the hallway.

"Hey, Alessia, what are you doing up so late?" he asked with concern evident in his tone.

I struggled to keep myself even though my mind was still reeling.

"Oh, uh, just getting some water," I managed to reply as my voice betrayed me.

He raised an eyebrow, probably sensing something was off with me.

"Are you okay Alessia? You don't sound like my junior sister...."

I faked a laugh.

"What do you mean Nicholas? I'm fine and stop acting like an overprotective big brother." I say to him as I tried to brush off his question.

"Hmmm.."

"Now, if you don't mind, can I go to my room now?"

"Sure." He answered.

But as I reached my room, I realized I had forgotten to grab the water I had poured earlier.

"Actually, I forgot something in the kitchen. You go ahead, I will go to bed after that." I said quickly, hoping to divert his attention.

I turned back towards the kitchen as my thoughts raced with the unsettling image of the wolf transforming into a human.

A human who I have never seen physically but do appear to me in my dreams.

Was it real?

Or just a trick of my tired mind?

I pushed the troubling thoughts aside and focused on the simple task of quenching my thirst.

I couldn't stop thinking about it so I moved the curtain of the window and peeped outside.

Just like I thought, he was still there, just standing next to the bench in the back.

I gasped as I quickly moved the curtain back when he turned around and saw me through the window.

"Fuck." I mumbled while pacing back and forth infront of the window.

I checked the door, making sure it was locked when I peeped in the small glass window on it.

No, no ,no

He was walking right up to the door.

I immediately dropped to the floor, sitting in front of the door.

It's locked.....I'm fine.

But I knew deep down inside I wasn't fine.

I am scared.

I mean who wouldn't be scared of a werewolf and could possibly kill you when he gets the chance.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard him trying to open the screen door.

My heart felt like it stopped and seconds felt so slow.

A couple minutes went by of silence.

He must have gone away.

But what if he is still standing there waiting for my dumb ass to look out the window?

"Ugh." I took a deep breathe before sprinting upstairs, to my room.

I quickly locked my bedroom door, just to be careful.

My mind was racing with thoughts of whether or not I should wake up my parents.

No.

They might go look outside and by then he might have gone, making me look crazy, even crazier then I already look.

I walked over to my window, slightly moving the curtain.

I scanned the yard.

Nothing.

Untill in the very back, where the trees are, I saw him.

Those dark green eyes.

So vibrant in the dark.

I watched as he looked at me than shifted to his wolf form and disappeared in the darkness.

What the actual fuck!

My legs slid down to the floor, below the window.

This is crazy.

It feels like I am going crazy.

I need to tell someone.
