Maybelline Walter POV
"Hi, babe. I'm ho...me..." My voice trailed off when I walked inside my room and found two naked people on my bed, having sex and moaning like their lives depended on. I had to go back outside to check to be sure I didn't enter the wrong room, but when I saw that it was my room, I walked back inside.
My jaw dropped to the ground and my body trembled as I watched my boyfriend and soon-to-be husband, banging another woman right on our bed, the room I rented with my money.
"Harder please, Os...car..." The bitch my boyfriend was busy fucking, moaned and cried out as she kept asking for more. They were so engrossed in the damn sex that none of them knew that I was inside the room.
My heart wrenched painfully and my lips quivered as I stared wordlessly. I opened my mouth to call his attention, but the only thing I could produce were tears that streamed down my cheeks freely.
"Oscar!" I finally managed to yell his name, and as expected, he quickly pulled away shamelessly from the bitch and his face dilated in shock as soon as he saw me.
I scoffed as I glanced at the bitch that was struggling to cover up her naked self, using my duvet that I bought with my hard earned money.
"How could you do this to me, Oscar?" My chest contracted tightly. So tight that I could barely breath. My heart pounded hard against my chest, and I swallowed nothing.
"You are home? You didn't tell me you would come home so early,"
"Is that all you are going to say? I just caught you sleeping with another woman on our bed, and..."
"And what? Don't tell me you were expecting me to stick with someone like you? You never let me touch you, I'm not an ascetic!" He shook his head as he stood from the bed, naked. Does he have an atom of shame in him?
"We've been together for two years! Two damn years! Those time never meant anything to you?And I just insisted on not having sex before marriage!"
I wanted to yell at him, but my body was so weak down to my vocal cord, and I ended up almost whispering as more tears streamed down my cheeks. I hated to be like this in front of him, I didn't want to look pathetic, but what could I do other than to cry my eyes out?
"Fuck! Do you really not know you are a geek? Who would insist on not having sex before marriage?" He said to me sarcastically as he grabbed his shirt and wore it.
"I give you a roof over your head, Oscar. I did everything for you. I gave you my all, how could you do this to me?" I cried out, but he scoffed and shrugged. I never meant to mention the things I've done for him, but I couldn't help myself.
"Stop being delusional, May... No man would stick around a pathetic loser like yourself. The only reason I've been with you is because I had nowhere to stay... And now..." He paused then stood up and smirk, "You can go to hell with your house because I'm so fucking done with you,"
It felt like a dagger was pierced into my heart. Those words hurt so much but then I couldn't bring myself to do anything or say anything to him, so I just stared at him.
Oscar didn't spare me another glance before he stormed out of my room and slammed the door so hard that I flinched.
I cried on the spot, how pitiful I was, after spending two years with a man without heart , I was still dumped in the end.
'Club and alcohol' The only thing that came to my mind. They say alcohol and clubbing will only temporarily take your problem and pain away but won't ever solve it, but at that point, it didn't matter to me if it was temporary or permanent. All I wanted was to keep the pain away and be able to sleep tonight. Just for tonight. I've had a hectic day at work and staying up all night and wallowing in pain was the last thing I wanted.
I managed to stand up to my lazy and weak feet, then strode out of my room with nothing but my phone.
The cab I boarded soon pulled over in front of the not-too-popular club down the street, and I stepped out of the cab.
