Chapter 1 My Boss
The alarm ran so loud for the third time, She searched for her phone under the blanket. "Oh my God it's already 7am." She threw the blanket away and ran to the bathroom. Ten minutes later she was already dressed in a pink bodies gown and a black sandals, she picked up her black purse and ran to the living room. She meet her siblings already having breakfast.
"Who made breakfast?" She asked shocked. "Brother did big sis come on and join us." Adriana said hitting the seat next to her.
Mikaela Walked slowly and sat down next to her. She took a pinch from the scrambled eggs and ate. "Hmm not bad, Adrian where did you learn how to make scrambled eggs." "I watched you most of the time, you were tired yesterday so we didn't want to disturb you." He picked his empty plate and walked to the kitchen and Adriana followed behind. "We will go out and wait for the bus." "Bye."
Mikaela waived at them. Sometimes she wondered how Adrian get to be so mature than his age, maybe the saying 'A man will always be a man.'
She hurriedly locked the door and hailed a cab. She hurried in. "Sir please be a little faster, I am late for my first day at work." She said in a polite tone. "Sure." The driver replied, Increasing the car speed.
They got go Mint Moore, She got down thanked the driver and ran into the company. She caught a glimpse of the CEO 's assistant. "Mr Evans." She called and ran to him before catching her breathe. "Why are you late." Jason asked as she got to where he was standing. "I was stuck in traffic." She couldn't tell him she woke up late. "That's the way to the boss office, he has been waiting for you." He pointed to the hallway at the right. "The last door." "Thank you sir." She rushed towards the hallway. Raymond was in his office when he heard a light knock on the door. "Open the door." He said why going through some files. She slowly pushed the door open and she stood there waiting for him to tell her to come in. He looked up and saw her standing at the entrance. "Do you need a invitation to come in." He asked. "I am sorry sir, I was waiting for your order." She came in and stood in front of him. "I am your new secretary Mr Miller recommended me. " she stopped there waiting for him to say something. "So you are the new first class secretary Mr Miller recommended from Zinnia University. " He asked before he focused his attention on his file. " Yes sir. "She was feeling a little nervous now. " And you think you are big enough to keep Raymond Williams waiting. " He asked turning his chair around. "I am sorry sir, I was stuck in traffic sir, I promise to be more early next time. "She felt her throat dried up as she swallowed her saliva. " will there be a next time girly. " He asked her and he slammed the file on the table. " I am sorry sir. "She said again, she didn't even remember how many times she had said that now. "Sorry for yourself now get out of my office. "She was about to rush out." And ask Jason to show you your desk. " " Thank you sir." she said then hurriedly left his office. " What a cold and arrogant bastard, jeez. "She walked around the office. Jason asked a worker to show her to her desk. She was amazed by her nice place though it was not a office. " Wow this entire office is she beautiful, I can wait to tell Olivia.", she took out her phone and took selfies. She went to Instagram and WhatsApp and changed her profiles picture. "Oh God the pictures are topnotch." She texted Olivia her bestie. "Oh God I got the job babe, you have to see the company it's scream wealth."
