CHAPTER 1️⃣

THE RUDE BOSS

In a city in Philippine stood a very big estate and in it was a very big mansion in which it was all painted Gold with glasses all over it body.

The mansion is very big that it could contain everyone in a street without any discomfort.

Wonderin who is the owner of this mansion?

Well it is the third most wealthiest man in Philistine and it is no other than Daren Cole.

Daren is well adored in the country and he is well respected. Hearing his name alone his name alone is fire.

He is the owner of like twenty companies all over the world.

A car drove into the mansion and then the driver park the car and rush out of the car to open the door for someone.

He open the door and the leg of the person could be seen wearing a black and shiny shoe.

The person came out fully wearing a very expensive suit with his hair packed and it was jet black.

All he is putting on worth billions of naira.

The person is no other than Daren Cole.

He walked into the mansion majestically and the maid on seeing him quickly bow their heads and this is because you dare not look him in the eyes whenever he is talking or walk in.

He ignore the maids and went up to his room.

"Bring my food to me in five minutes" he said as he was going.

The maids on hearing this scamper to prepare his food.

They were done dishing it in three minutes and one of the maids took it to his room.

She got to the front and she knocked the door but did not hear anything.

She knock again for the second time but still she did not hear anything so she open the door and walk in.

She was about dropping the food when she heard a voice.

"Who gave you the permission to enter?" The person asked and she look up to see the blazing cold eyes of Daren.

"I am sorry sir" she said shivering in fear.

"Get out of this place now" he shouted fiercely and the maid quickly walk out thanking God she is not punished.

It seems Daren is in a good mood now because he will have punish her for doing that.

After the maid left Daren wore his cloth and then he sat down to eat his food.

Elena Wilson live with her big extended family in a not so big mansion.

Though they are rich but not as rich as Daren at all.

Elisa just graduated from college and came home then a party was done on her behalf.

Many people came to the party including Daren Cole.

Daren sat in his seat watching all that is happening with a calm face.

Many people came to greet him and he responded to them.

After sometimes the party came to an end and they all went home.

Elena also got into the house happily.

She got in and her father call her.

She sat beside him and he began his speech.

"Congratulations on your graduation my child, I am really happy for your achievement" he said and stop a bit then he continue.

"Now tha you have graduated I will like you to come to take over my company" he said and Elena look at him in a disapproving way.

"No Dad, I am not doing that, I will like to work on my own and make my dream come true" she said to him.

"But who will take over the company"

"Well, Carlos can take over the company when he graduate, thank God he is in college also now"

"Well if you say so, I won't stop you from fulfilling your dreams" he said and she smile happily.

"Thanks for understanding Dad" she said and hug him.

Her mother then came to sit beside her father and she whispered something into his ear.

"No, I don't think we should let her know now" he replied her also whispering.

Elena seeing this began wondering what they were both talking about.

She left them later and went into her room.

Carlos is Elena's younger brother and he is in college now as Elena had said.

She got into her room and took her laptop and she began searching for jobs online.

Daren after finish eating went to the party of Elena and after he got back he went into his room and began working on his laptop.

He was still working when his PA called him.

"Speak" he said coldly.

"Boss, Mr. Gael is here to see you"

"Tell him I am not around and attend to him whatever he want" he said and hung up without waiting for a reply.

The PA went to the so called Mr. Gael and told him what his boss said.

"How dare him keep me waiting, just because he is the billionaire doesn't mean he can treat people anyhow" Mr. Gael said.

"I am sorry sir, can I know what you came here for please" he asked but Mr. Gael walk out of the company angrily.

The PA also went back to his office.

This is not the first time this is happening, many people go out of the company angrily because of Darren's rude attitude but he doesn't give a damn about that.

He is never affected by this at all.

Daren walk till late in the night and after he was done he called the landline telling the maid who pick it up to bring his food.

She quickly went into the kitchen to dish his food and she went upstairs to serve it to him.

She got in and she knock and when she heard his voice she went in and put the food on the table.

She then open it for him.

"What the hell is this?" He asked on seeing the food.

"It is the food sir"

"Why is it so cold?" He asked and then took the food and pour it on the maid's body.

The maid began crying but he careless.

"Clean this up for me" he said angrily and walk out of the room.

It turned out that the maid is new in the mansion and did not know he dislike cold food.

She was such in a hurry to dish his food that she forgot to warm it.

Elena after searching for job and applying for some decides to take a nap.

She woke up later in the evening and she went to prepare dinner for the family.

It took her up to three hours before she is done and after she is done she dish the food and call the rest to come and eat their dinner.

They all got there and some sat at the dinning while the young ones sat on the floor and they all began eating.

Daren ordered food later and he ate and went to sleep.

He woke up the next day and was dressing up when a call came unto his phone.

He picked it up.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Boss our goods was delayed at the border"

"Who the hell delay my goods, I will be there soon" he said angrily and hung up.

He finish dressing up and ate some of his food then he went out if the mansion and drove to the company angrily.
